I think we should start with the following:
Stop abusing alcohol and drugs
Work on our mental, physical, and emotional health
Start backyard farming
Support commercial farming as a viable career choice
Produce our own in-house products and sell
Buy from each other
Grow trade within Africa
Teach, teach, teach the nation and the young ones about the art and importance of making money.

Surely poverty in Africa cannot continue to the next 100 years. Instead, in the next 100 years, Africa should be an economically and socially fit continent and home to united Africans who are free of self-doubt, self-sabotage, and social anxiety – products of the colonial past and key reasons for the lack of economic excellence today.
