Dear Reader: What are you growing in your backyard vegetable garden right now?

Hubbard Pumpkin fresh from my backyard garden

I'm growing cherry tomatoes, jam tomatoes, ordinary round tomatoes, potatoes, sweet potatoes, butternut, bush beans, broad beans, okra, green peppers, chilies, baby marrows, melons, corn, carrots, garlic, ginger, and a few others.

My vegetables don’t always come out perfect, but they all end up on my and my family's plates.

I only put in about 30 minutes of work time a day.

The cost of food is not getting high, people; it is already very, very high. Backyard farming is no longer an option. It is an absolute necessity that puts food on the table and keeps us healthy and alive to tackle all of life's opportunities and joys.
