We are after the success of Africa and its people.

ABOUT US

Our mission is to empower low income businesses and communities. Benefitting Africa's social and economic well-being.

We plan to do this in a number of ways, including programs to assist the growth of income earned through informal employment; by inspiring and educating the masses and children about personal, financial,  and economic wellness; and by seeking and securing financial relief or assistance for the ones that are in need; and by proving sales and market platforts where small business can come other and sell, thus starting Africa's economic engine in motion.

Assist growth of income

The first part of our mission is to support women (and men) who run businesses from the streets and inside their homes.

Their businesses are hard, strenuous, and grossly unprofitable due to high input costs, lack of resources, and quickly spoiling merchandise. A situation that forces them to run ceaselessly. Which, in turn, results in self and child neglect; and an inability to provide well for their families despite their strenuous efforts.

Your  money could not be in better hands. We all know that women can build oceans without rivers. And that they cannot be stopped when they decide to fix a bad situation. When our women were faced with difficulty, they took their last money, bought something to sell, set a table and chair on a street corner, packed the table with their merchandise, and started selling. They will continue to sell on these corners till the end. Many have even become reliable landmarks! By being on the streets, they are already demonstrating their commitment to provide for themselves and their children.

Why are the women failing then?

While they are thriving as a collective, individually, they are going through immeasurable challenges. Imagine running a business with little profit and no option for rest because if you rest or let up for a moment, your business will fail and your children won’t have anything to eat. In essence, all it takes is one bad day to ruin you!

The women are failing because:

  • They are fatigued

  • They fall sick

  • Lack financial literacy

  • Lack financial support

Together, we can give them the support and rescue they desperately need—a chance to stabilise their income, grow their businesses, and care for themselves and their children.

Educate Children and Local Communities

The second part of our mission is the education of the masses and children about money and sustainable living.

Unaware and unassisted, most people suffer different kinds of challenges which can be assisted by education. Orphans and children of unformed or uneducated parents show up in matric lacking belief in themselves, without a plan for their lives, and no clue as to where to go after matric, or how to provide for themselves as adults.

Our goal is to change this through various activities. One is by publishing life and financial literature for children and adults in print and online. These books and online magazines will give children practical knowledge, advice, and guidance about life and money throughout their growth journey, and assist adults to maneuver financial difficulties!

The books will constantly impress in the minds of children and adults that they are able and capable of living responsible and successful lives. We aim to produce adults who can care for their families' emotional and financial needs. And to get more people involved in growing Africa's economy.

Support Income Initiatives

The third part of our mission is to provide as many vehicles as possible to assist the business efforts of Africans.

These include providing business and marketing expertise to help businesses expand, providing financial and developmental assistance to small businesses, raising funds for charity organisations/cases, and developing strategies and tools to aid the economic growth of Africans.

We have provided THE BUSINESS DIRECTORY, where all-size businesses can list their businesses and access a wider market.

We have also provided THE BUSINESS HUB where businesses can, as and when they need, access skills support, and expertise that they can't afford full-time.

Why should you care?

Street traders (men and woman) are at the core of our economy. Their success or failure impacts everyone.

Daily Maverick reports that according to the new research produced by the Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies (Plaas) at the University of the Western Cape, as much as 60% of the fruit and vegetables sold at South Africa’s municipal fresh produce markets is bought by street traders.

In Johannesburg alone, buyers for the informal sector account for at least R3.9-billion a year in produce sales – half the turnover of the city’s main fresh produce market!

  • Together, they are a strong and necessary economic force.

  • Their existence is necessary for our country’s economic growth.

  • Even in their low scale, they are provide employment to one or two other people.

  • They make food affordable for the poor - feeding the poor communities.

  • These green tables take children to school, buy uniform, and put food of many tables.

Why are three missions necessary?

When combined, funding, education, access to markets, and access to buying patrons offer the solution to success.  No success is guaranteed when even one of these elements is missing.

It will be futile to leave any out. Or to leave it to someone else to do, for they may not do it.

We desperately crave action that will end the struggles of struggling Africans.  We, therefore, see it as necessary to provide a complete solution.

We have done our best to provide all four elements necessary for the growth of African families.

However, our success will lie in your support. Please lend us a hand, therefore.
